    What are mineral sun blockers?

Instead of using chemical sunscreen agents, which can be less effective and potentially irritating, Sunrider uses zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, minerals derived from the earth. When applied topically in a sunscreen formula, they block the sun’s UVA and UVB radiation from being absorbed into your skin, which means they are considered broad-spectrum sunscreens. Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are the only mineral compounds approved by the FDA for use as active sunscreen ingredients.

    Recommendations

Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure.

    Reapply:

    • after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating
    • immediately after towel drying
    • at least every 2 hours
